What is an PubSecure Secure Document?

PubSecure provides you a PDF document that is watermarked with specific purchaser information and may also contain information about distribution or copyright restrictions.  

A PubSecure PDF is a normal pdf, and requires no special tools or apps to open.  Any PDF reader can be used.  The document can not be edited, nor can its contents be copied to other documents.  This is done to protect the document from illegal or unauthorized use.

How does PubSecure Work?

When you purchase a document secured by PubSecure, you will be provided a link to download the document directly following payment for your purchase.  You will also receive a confirmation email from Support@PubSecure.com confirming your purchase.  The email will contain a link that will allow you to download the document at any time in the future. All you need is your email address and password.

How can I see what I have ordered through PubSecure?

Your confirmation email will provide a link to your order history, allowing you to view any purchases you have made with your account (email address), and whatever password you choose.  You can access this page at any time by going to https://pubsecure.com/order/status, and logging in with your email address and password.

I forgot my password.  How can I retrieve it?

In the shopping cart, enter your email address and click Forgot Password.  You will receive a link that allows you to create a new password.

I lost my document.  Can I get it back?

There are two ways to retrieve your document.  The confirmation email you received contains the link to download it. You can also go to https://pubsecure.com/order/status, and log in in with your email address and password, and download any of your purchases from there.

How can I get a receipt for my purchase?

The confirmation email you received contains the link to download a receipt/invoice for your purchase. You can also go to https://pubsecure.com/order/invoice , and log in in with your email address and password, and download a receipt for any of your purchases from there.

What information does PubSecure store about me?

PubSecure keeps only the information necessary to process your order (name, email address, password for your account, and a payment confirmation code is stored in case we need to refund a purchase.  We do not store any information about your payment beyond what would be needed to ask the payment processor to issue a refund if required.  

We do not share this information with anyone except ourselves and the publisher you purchased your document from.  

Can I remove the information PubSecure has about me?  

Yes, just let us know at Support@pubsecure.com.  We will delete your information at your request.  Please be aware that once we do so, your order history, and ability to download past purchases will be erased.
